Big thinkers have lots of questions.

Good thing I’ve got lots of answers.

  • Why should I hire a freelance copywriter?

Here’s the thing – a professional copywriter is much like a professional electrician or plumber. They are a leader in their field, and really, really good at what they do. Adding a professional copywriter to your project strengthens your team and ensures you’re on your way to reaching your goals.

I have been working with words one way or another for 15+ years, which has given me a lot of time to hone my craft and understand how to use words effectively to reach an end goal.

  • How much does it cost to work with you?

This is a great question, and it has many answers. It all depends on the project. Typically, I can provide a quote for a project when I have the scope and timeline in hand. If you have a set budget you want to work with, let me know what it is and I can find a way to make both of us happy.

  • What is your area of expertise?

What I am really good at is taking overly complex information from industries like oil and gas, healthcare, tech, and finance, and distilling it down so it is easy to understand. Not only that, but I make it interesting and engaging, not yawn-worthy.

  • How long will it take to complete my project?

Every project is different, so it’s hard to say without knowing all of the details. What I can tell you is that I’ve never missed a deadline in the 15+ years I’ve been writing, and I don’t plan to start now.

No matter what schedule we decide on for your project, you can rest assured that I will deliver the work on time. And you’ll be really happy with it.

  • How many rounds of edits do I get?

It depends on the project. However, most projects have two rounds of edits. Some occasionally have one round or three rounds of edits.

  • What is your writing process?

The projects I work on vary greatly, so my process is flexible based on what I’m working on. Typically, I start by understanding the scope of the project and the goals you want to achieve. I then conduct research, write, edit, and deliver the content for your review.

  • What types of clients do you work with?

My clients include digital marketing agencies, small and medium businesses, enterprise organizations, book publishers, authors, and print and digital publications. I love working with internal marketing teams, marketing teams of one, and jack-of-all-trade marketers.

  • Which industries do you have experience in?

My specialties are tech, oil and gas, and business. However, I have also worked extensively with organizations in the healthcare, parenting, lifestyle, manufacturing, and travel industries.

  • Can you help me become a freelance writer?

You’d be surprised how often I get this question (multiple times a week, in fact!). While I’d love to respond to every one who wants to join this career path, I currently don’t have the capacity to.

In the future, I’ll be building an online course to help new freelancers navigate the world of running a copywriting business. Stay tuned!
