With a career spanning 15+ years as a professional writer and editor both in the publishing and marketing industries, I have made a living with words.
I started at John Wiley and Sons in the marketing department, and then moved on as the Canadian acquisitions editor for the For Dummies brand.
Next, I worked at an online marketing agency with a diverse portfolio, and following that I spent a number of years at a technology company in charge of their content marketing.
In 2018, I went freelance and never looked back. I have successfully operated my own freelance writing and editing business since then, achieving six-figure revenue annually.

I care deeply about the words people use to tell their stories, whether it’s a blog about a technology solution or a book-length work on corporate sustainability. Storytelling is the heart of what I do.

​When I’m not reading, writing, or editing, I can be found in the kitchen trying out new recipes, doing dance routines with my two daughters, or planning our next vacation.
